About Me.

My career was culminated after many years of leaning into my passion.

For a while I found myself providing assistance, in which I loved dearly, to family and friends following their deliveries. At the time I did not realize I was already fulfilling my role and my calling as a Doula. Additionally, I interned for a handful of years at a local pregnancy care center during college. In helping women as they began their motherhood journey, it became apparent to me the great necessity for Postpartum care- not just in Eastern North Carolina but, anywhere postpartum support was needed.

I wanted to make things official which began by completing training through the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA). Soon after I moved to Houston, TX, to dive in and gain hands-on experience where Postpartum care was established, prominent, and in high demand. I worked lovingingly to achieve my goal which was accomplished by working alongside many families, big partnerships with agencies, and mentorship by a unique collective of some of the best veteran Doula's in the business. Only after faithful dedication, I successfully obtained my certification in 2022 and returned to North Carolina as my heart always desired to bring my service back home.  

This journey and my many years of experience have shown me how everyday moms deserve and should have a helping hand, a comforting support, and wise reassurance. All while finding strength in knowing someone has their back.
